Cardoons with “Bagna Caôda”
Ingredients for 4 servings
- 4 tablespoons of “Bagna caôda Inaudi”
- 8 tablespoons of fresh cream/olive oil/4 tablespoons of fresh cream and 4 tablespoons of oil
- 1 kg of cardoons
- 1 lemon
- Salt
Preparation
Clean the cardoons, cut them into pieces and remove the strings. Boil them into salt water and lemon juice for 30 minutes. Drain the cardoons and arrange them onto a greased baking dish.
Meanwhile, put 4 tablespoons of “Bagna Caôda” and 8 tablespoons of fresh cream/olive oil/4 tablespoons of fresh cream and 4 tablespoons of oil ina small pan. Amalgamate the mixture on low heat so as to obtain a smooth mixture. the Bagna Caôda will be ready in a few minutes.
Pour the mixture on the cardoons. Bake at 180°C in pre-heated oven for 30 minutes.
